Our Mission

By practicing progressive venture philanthropy, Firefighters1st provides tools, training and education to keep firefighters and the public they serve safe.

We accomplish our mission by:

• Providing an effective vehicle for socially responsible corporations to achieve maximum impact and exposure for their donation dollars

• Providing access to training and equipment to enhance the safety of firefighters and the public during emergency response situations

• Providing access to educational programs with regard to fire prevention, children’s fire safety, and the importance of the volunteer fire service

• Supporting a united volunteer fire service
