Firefighters1st, in its commitment to help make the lives of volunteer firefighters and the public they serve safe, understands effective governance and accountability on behalf of all stakeholders is critical to the success of this vision.

As volunteer firefighters ourselves, we believe that it is a great privilege to call oneself a firefighter. We believe that every firefighter is not only an ambassador of their department, but an ambassador of the fire service at large. We all have a responsibility to conduct ourselves with pride, honour and integrity both in and out of uniform.

Firefighters1st embraces transparency. If you feel that any of our values or objectives have been breached by any of our employees, board members, firefighters or the fire departments we serve, please report this immediately and an investigation will be conducted.
