Imagine volunteer firefighters across North America standing on the rooftops of businesses in their communities at the same time. Everyone joining together to raise awareness for volunteer fire departments nationwide.

Last year 30 fire departments raised over $200,000 in 30 hours!
Heroes in the Sky is the flagship event created by The Fire Within. It's purpose is to create awareness for volunteer fire departments and volunteer firefighters nationwide.
Heroes In The Sky is used by departments involved in the Calendar Campaign. The annual event creates the perfect opportunity to accomplish the following:
- Get your volunteer firefighters out in the community and interacting with the public
- Sell hundreds of calendars!
- Enjoy remarkable team building and have fun while doing it
- Unite the voice of volunteer firefighters across North America
How does it work?
Send a few of your members up on the roof of a local business at 12:00 noon on a Saturday and leave them up there until 6:00 pm the following day.
The rest of your department will be on the ground selling calendars, meeting the public, and showing off the apparatus to the kids.
This is a fun weekend activity that has proven very successful in terms of calendar sales. Most departments sell over 60% and some have sold 100% of their calendars during this one weekend!
